SWIMS’ CEO, Ric Campos, has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry and is considered a pioneer in the storm water management industry. Since founding SWIMS over 22 years ago, Ric has added several divisions beyond storm water maintenance, including erosion control, post-construction, dewatering, and QSP divisions.
Ric is a SWPPP (storm water pollution prevention plan) trainer, and often presents workshops to general contractors and property managers. He has also assisted several municipalities with education and implementation of their local storm water ordinances.
Ric has participated in several Caltrans projects, including “Filtration Test Projects”, the “Highway 116 Project” in Petaluma, and the “Lake Forest Transportation Corridor Project. Ric is CASQA Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP #00486) CISEC #0318 Certified along with CAL/OSHA 10 Safety Certified and C2 Cal Confined Space Certified. He frequently conducts SWPPP Trainings for Commercial Developers, Construction Companies & Property Managers.
