Ric is considered a pioneer in the Storm Water Management industry and has been labeled the “Storm Water Expert”. While working in the construction industry for over 20 years he was one of the first to implement a SWPPP plan and install structural BMP’s. Ric created SWIMS on three factors: honesty, integrity, and building relationships. Today, Ric’s company serves the entire state of California and continues to grow in clients and favor. He is a dedicated leader in his community and beyond, raising his family, helping those in need, and enjoying life with his beautiful wife for over 33 years.

Since SWIMS started over 26 years ago in 1998, Ric has added several divisions beyond Storm Water Maintenance; Erosion Control, Post Construction Storm Water Maintenance, Dewatering, and QSP Divisions have all been added. SWIMS is a one-stop shop from beginning to end of job sites.

He also participated in several State and City “Filtration Test Projects”, the “Highway 116 Project” in Petaluma, and the “Lake Forest Transportation Corridor Project. Ric is CASQA Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP #00486) CISEC #0318 Certified along with CAL/OSHA 10 Safety Certified and C2 Cal Confined Space Certified. He frequently conducts SWPPP Trainings for Commercial Developers, Construction Companies and Property Managers.
